Feb 1 - 19: Rainbow walkabout in Sinai. Through the Desert from the Red Sea to Mount Moses in February 2001. We meet on 1st of february at Duna/Nuweiba and Arrival will be around 19th of February at Mount Moses, where We will Build a Camp in The Garden of Elias 'somewhere below the Top of the Mountain' The full invitation and more details on pub29.ezboard.com/brainbowpeoplesmessageboard.
Feb 23 - ??: Aotearoa/ New Zealand Rainbow Gathering in the north of the North Island. Seed camp starts Full Moon February with Main Gathering starting on Feb 23rd. Full information including directions to the gathering can be obtained by phoning (09) 4081335.

March 2-4: Croatia Scout council in the naturepark at PREMANTURA, 10 km south of PULA, Istria, Kroatia at Rt Kamenjak. Info-Telefon: 00385-1/3822132 Map and Invitation soon on : Croatian Website..
March 8-11: Rainbow meets the green activists! Gathering in lower Galilee, Israel. Full moon: Saturday 10.3, Seed camp: 4.3.
Seed camp starts: 5.3. Place: Forest of Beit Keshet ("house of rainbow" in English) in lower Galilee, between Nazareth and Tiberias. Directions: Take road 65. Few kilometers south of Golani-junction there's a T-crossing of Bet Keshet. (There's a lonely big oak in the crossing) There take west towards kibbutz Beit Keshet. After about 1 Km. turn left to the "scenic road" and follow it into the forest. There will be signs.
The beautiful forest of Beit Keshet is one of the few natural forests left in Israel. Now it's under a threat of being bulldozed down to make way for more concrete and asphalt. Come to the rescue.

April 6 - 13: the next Scout meeting for preparing the main Rainbow Gathering in CROATIA takes place near the boarder to Istiria and Slovenia - where it was before. For more info, go to www.fly.srk.fer.hr/~dajovan.

June 15 - July 15: French Rainbow Gathering around full moon June.
June 21: Start of the seed camp to prepare the 16th International European Gathering in CROATIA. About 15 tons of vegetables need to get harvested (organic grown).

June 21: "World" Rainbow Gathering in southern Africa. For more info, join the "africacaravan" egroup at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/africacaravan the 2nd world rainbow gathering of the rainbow family of living light be held in tribal trust lands at the confluence of the mazoe and nyadire rivers in mashonaland east province, northeastern zimbabwe.... welcome home family. the site is about 30 kilometers northwest of kotwa, which is 22 k from mozambique border on the harare-nyamapanda road, the main road east from harare[the A2]; follow the signs to the (Nyatana) Wildlife Reserve.... we are here at the council in lusaka, zambia thanks everyone.. more particulars to follow as we'll be making our way through harare tomorrow... meeting and staging at the palm rock villa, 39 selous ave, harare telephone 263 - 4 - 700 691 [country code 263] [area code 4]....
June/July Full Moon: Slovenian annual gathering. Sorry, I have no other info yet.
June 6 - July 5: June 2001 for solstice & total solar eclipse Peak June 21st - seedcamp May 7, 2001 - site to be announced Scouting will focus along the path of totality of the eclipse Zambia - Zimbabwe - Mozambique - Madagascar. www.worldgathering.org.
June 20 - August 20: The gathering will start at the 20 th of July (Newmoon Fireopening-ceremony) and last untill 19 th of August (Newmoon) with the peak at Fullmoon the 4 th of August and cleanup will continue untill the end of August. The seedcamp will start Newmoon 21 st of June, summersolstice (which will give us enough time to harvest the vegetables). We will provide organic food as the main food supply for this gathering. The scouting week will start at 6 th of April in the Gorski Kotar mountains. July 5th full moon: Rainbow Gathering in SLOVAKIA. Sorry, I don't have any more info than this yet.
July 20 - August 19th: he 19th International Gathering of European Rainbow Family: In Croatia The gathering will start on the 20th of July (New moon Fire opening-ceremony) and last until the 19th of August, (New moon) with the peak at Full moon the 4th of August. August 17th - Sept 17th: South African Rainbow Gathering.The site is on a magical beach near a small town called Mbotyi which is 41km north of Port st Johns in the transkei. tke the N2 to Umtata and then the road to Lusikisiki...from there the road to Mboyti where the Welcome centre will be. There will also be a full moon spring celebration on the 2nd of sept. Colourful contributions could include:water containers,buckets,pots,utensils,natural medicines,tree seedlings,tools ,rope,dried fruit,musical instruments,celebration costumes,personal bowl cup and spoon. August 20th - Sept 15th: Italian "Healing" Gathering. ..in CAMPOLI...between Bologna and Pistoia, when you are in TAVIANO go to TREPPIO ...and then to TORRI.... to CAMPOLI... ..after a little walk you will be arrived... ...I just want to say that it will be a healing rainbow... ..no drugs... no smoke.. . only love.... and love.. ... ..
Late August for 2 months: The Rainbow Gathering is on now!! and it is north of Cairns and will go for about two months, it's a plant some bush tucker focus, If you get lost go to Cairns or karanda markets you will find brothers and sisters to guide you.
August 24 - Sept 9: Rainbow gathering on the Schwaebische Alb. Bring along: Love, tolerance, creativity, respect, tools, music instruments, camping stuff, healthy food, books, contributions, children and your self! How to get there: By car: From Reutlingen take Road B312 direction Riedlingen. 5 Km after Klein Engstingen go right direction Meidelstetten, after 20 meters again right. Along a Restaurant with playground and 500 more meter there is the Rainbow parking. Yipee you are there! By public transport: Train to Reutlingen. Then take a bus to Kleinengstingen (every hour or so: 5:38, 7:18, 8:58, 9:18, 10:58, 11:55, 12:10, 12:52, 14:18, 14:58, 15:18, 15:28, 15:58, 16:05, 16:38, 16:58, 17:47, 18:18,19:08, 20:18, 22:18 (last bus). From there you have to walk or hitch hike about 5 km. See description above. The place costs DM 1 per adult per day!

Sept 28 - 30: Regional Gathering in Hungary. We are meeting at the home of Breeze and Eagle in the village of Nagyborzsony, about 80 minutes north of Budapest. The national forest park where we camp is two minutes from their house. Eagle just got a new tipi and wants to pitch it. Bring the usual stuff, including food supplies and camping equipment and music. Public transportation is available from Bp.
Sept 9 - 30: Greek Rainbow Gathering. From the town of Lamia you head west to Ypati, southwest to Sykia, south to Pyrgos and, at the fork which goes to Dafni or Neohori, you head southeast towards Neohori. (Yes, the route is a circle around a mountain). Before Neohori you cross a river and the parking lot is there. There should be Rainbow markers from the fork onwards.
Buses run from Lamia: to Pyrgos: Monday 5:45am , Friday 1:30 pm to Sykia: three (3) buses daily.

Oct 21 - ?: The 10th annual gathering of the israeli family will start 21/10/01 at Ein Hida near mount Tabor. You reach Afula and then go on Road no. 65 towards Tiberias. On the waz zou pass through kfar-Tavor. in the village turn right towards Sarona, Yarneel, Kfar Kama >> Pass Kfar kama and after you see on the left side - Sarona village and on your right you see a stone tower and a dirt road. follow the dirt road and the rainbow signs.

3rd World Rainbow Gathering: June 24, World Rainbow Gathering, Zimbabwe Consensed:
1) The 3rd World Rainbow Gathering will be held in Brazil from new moon March to new moon of April in 2003.
2) Call scouts to gather March 21, 2002, in Jericoacoara, Brazil (north of Fortaleza, Northeast Brazil).
