Cornucopia Kitchen was initially started by a merging of folks after the West Virginia Gathering in 1980. One of our main focuses has always been to feed the kids, plus we also try to always have some food available for late comers at night. Another one of our traditions has been to usually be the last kitchens on the trail.
One of the highlights was in Missouri in 1985 where the entire kitchen crew married each other! In Colorado in 1992, we celebrated our 10th year as a kitchen.
In Alabama we couldn't get the kitchen together cause of the site confusion, so we only had a small, self-suficient kitchen, and since that time we've been Cornucopia camp instead.
