Rodents and especially insects and slugs have one attribute bestowed
upon them by mother nature which the wolves lack--shear numbers.
That's how they survive.
Stamp out all the cockroaches you want -- they'll make more.
Wolves don't have this protection. Or perhaps you think wilderness
balance will be okay without them?
