BLACK HOLES
A friend & I spoke last night of Cassini and its insanity; and of the insane
propostition trying to dispose of the grotesquely immense tonnage of
unimaginably toxic nuclear wastes present on our planet by shooting it off
in rockets aimed at the Sun; and of the possible viruses those rockets could
even prove to be for the Sun's equilibrium... and we spoke also of the
larger view - not just "Cassini" or "No Nukism:" We spoke of the ongoing
rip-off of our entire planet by that BLACK HOLE created by the
transnationals and a few billionaires.
ROCK VIDEOS?
Who out there does video? I want to do the all-time best MTV ROCK VIDEO
exposing the Rip-off, the Lies and Deception, the Sinister Evil of it all...
perhaps we should call the X-Files or something. Who has the contacts?
CASSINI NEWS
It seems possible that an Anti-Cassini "majordomo list-serve" mailing list
will be established, though there is some debate whether any splintering is
a good idea or not. Abolition 2000, which focuses mainly on the abolition
of nuclear weapons, and numerous other conventions and organizations are
interested in Cassini - perhaps its just a part of the plan...
The Cassini debate has infused new energy into the anti-nuclear

SO DON'T FORGET!
Just because Cassini is launched safely away from the Earth for the time
being: It's not over yet! Its coming back in '99!! Also: its not the only
launch on the nuclear military/aerospace/industrial agenda!
CASSINI, ROB'S PLACE & /RENEGADE/
Around the first of April this year, after studying Cassini for awhile: I
put up my anti-Cassini webpage - "Plutonium Russian Roulette," and sent out
the first of my "CANCEL CASSINI Action Alerts." It's been non-stop ever
since. People have taken great interest! and I appreciate the great support
from you all so much! I'll be concentrating on my website again, and on
/RENEGADE/ for a change, after spending some 7 months mostly webbrowsing
Cassini sites, and reading & typing mostly "Cassini emails." I will keep
you posted on anything relevant, but [thank the heavens!] not so much
"Cassini mail" from me for awhile.
AN ARCHIVE OF NOTICES?
I have made a little progress on the possiblitiy of posting email messages
to the web. It seems that I may be able to set up a server where an updated
index of postings would occur automatically. I am interested and willing to
manage an archive of notices. I don't know about search capabilities yet,
or of the ability to automatically "hotlink" URL's within the messages, but
it looks like at least a simple posting system might work out where I could
just send messages to a certain address.
Anyway (though I *do* have a ton of stuff stashed in my email archives):
It would be really helpful to have a fresh installment of specific
references from you all - - So:

APPROPRIATE NEWSGROUPS
Please also forward any hot tips on Usenet newsgroups that are appropriate
for activist topics - environment, human rights, etc. Also: let me know if
you monitor certain groups - I would appreciate alerts and Cc's of relevant
postings.
