Moved to Boston from NYC myself, and know what you mean. There was a Beanbow
gathering every last Sunday of the Month in the Middlesex Fell Rerservation
which is just outside of Boston on 93 North.
When I checked it out, there were only about 1/2 dozen people there, no drums,
just a potluck. It may still be going on, but I havn't checked it out since
then.
