as jerry garcia came to after his death, he was most happy to see that
he was there among the greats of rock legend. jim morison, janis joplin,
jimi hendrix, and so on. as he saw elvis, he went up to him and said,
"this is great, all of you guys being here. i can spend eterntiy jamming
with the best. i never thought heaven would be this good."
elvis looked at him and said, "what? you think that you're in heaven?"
just then karen carpenter walked onto the stage , took the microphone
and said, "one more time guys, until you get it right, 'close to you'."
