I'm hoping that the experienced old dog-warriors and flitting wizards out there
will come forward tonight and tell some stories for our young friends. The
magic of the rainbow has transformed many lives, Ah Ho! and may it soon
tranform the Whole World!
Our forces are ready, our hearts are moving and the time arrives as it is
fortold that the heart and mind will work together to bind the Spirit of the
World to the Heart of the One.
Ah Ho! The Eagle of the North comes; White and Bristling for the Truth.
There is no room for compromise with the Winter. If we are not prepared, we
will freeze our asses off!
There is a great Tale of Winter, called, appropriately enough, A Winter's Tale.
It is by Mark Halpern, not the Russian guy who also wrote a story by that
name....
I recommend it to anyone who thinks that winter is an evil time only to be
avoided at all costs!
As the story goes.....Winter is the time that people are drawn closer together
by the fact that it's so much trouble to go outside. And living in the cold
time reminds us of how close we really are to the pure frozen stillness of
space, where energy is raw and Life is mostly frozen, or else of the Soul and
Imagination.....
The February Valentine's Great Lakes Rainbow Gathering at Nordhouse Dunes....a
taste of the ancient way to Winter.
Stay Warm!
Love,
P.
