There are chiggers in Alabama. I have clear fingernail polish painted
on mine now. I understand "flowers of sulfur" from pharmacies helps
keep chiggers and ticks away when sprinkled into shoes.

The Alabama site appears to be within a cellular telephone cell. There
is at least one licensed amateur radio operator on site with auto-patch
(telephone) capabilities.
